Are There Performances in the Basin Spring Park Bandshell?
Yes! More than a century of shows, rallies, school performances, speeches, protests, concerts and celebrations have happened in our historic bandshell in the park!
This summer, visitors are treated to FREE performances in the park on Thursdays and Fridays from 5-7 p.m.
The sound from our old bandshell is excellent, there are dozens of benches in the park, ice cream across the street, and many restaurants within walking distance. So, come have an evening with free entertainment in downtown Eureka Springs!
The History of Basin Spring Park Bandshell
The bandshell was created in 1921, and is an art deco design that was popular in Paris at the time. Brass bands performed in the bandshell in the early days, and a WW ll victory celebration happened on the park’s stage. Nowadays, music continues to fill Basin Spring Park, often reflecting whatever festival is taking place in town. Locals can often be seen dancing in front of the bandshell, as they have for over 100 years!
Renovation in Summer 2025
Basin Spring Park saw huge improvements in 2025 with resurfacing, new benches, handrails, water stations, a new Humpty Dumpty, and a blue landscape painted inside the bandshell.
Hidden Eureka ticket sales funded the new hydration stations in the park!
